Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi first met aged 18 on the Isle of Man, where they both grew up. In 1996, they set up shop on Notting Hill’s Portobello Road, and it wasn’t long before their designs were flying off the rails.
From the start, their one-off creations displayed many of the themes that Preen would revisit over the next decade – Victoriana, recycling, deconstruction, punk rock.
Preen look back to the ‘90s this season, and bring it up to code with their retro-modern take on summer style. Muddied micro florals and bright neons inject their maxi dresses, separates, and swimwear with a refreshing lightness. Just what we want to wear this season…
